Meet your host

My name is Emma, I grew up in my parents public house, where I loved the environment and could not wait to start waitressing. When I left school I went to hospitality college and from there on have managed Tea Rooms, A la Carte restaurants, pubs as well as working in cafes. However, it has always been my dream to run my own B&B. In March 2022 I bought Berlea, after falling in love with the property, the beautiful surroundings and future potential making it a place I could build my dream and vision. With lots of help from family and friends Berlea is now up and running as a tranquil escape for you all to enjoy. In winter you can curl up next to the log burner after a long walk. Whereas, in summer you can relax in the summer house with  a glass of wine and a book watching the stunning sunsets. You are sure to see a range of wildlife, including deer and lots more from the garden, with the cliff tops at the end of the road. This slice of British country side is the perfect place to escape your busy lives, to rest and recuperate with perfect opportunities to explore this stunning part of the world

Guest Stories

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Perfect hosts and just a perfect cottage which had everything and more. Great location and we would love to come back."

Claire

"We had a wonderful stay at Berlea house! The place is beautiful and has everything we needed, including a delicious slide of homemade lemon and lavender cake when we arrived! There's also a lovely garden overlooking an open field with deer and dramatic sunset. There's lots of stunning walks nearby, we took the coast path along the cliffs to overstrand then along the beach to Cromer. Would definitely come back again :)."

Katrina

"What can we say other than we loved our 4 night stay in this beautiful cottage. Felt relaxed and happy the whole duration, maybe the lavender body wash for our use helped ☺️ and the beautiful summerhouse in the Private garden each evening watching the sun go down and the pheasants and deer. The location and being able to park directly outside was ideal and so was the scrumptious cake too. Thank you both for making Norfolk seem even more special."

More info & to book

All of our bookings are through Airbnb. We offer a minimum of 2 night stays, with 10% discount for week-long bookings.

Berlea House really is the most perfect retreat away from it all. Trimingham is perfectly located close to so many amazing towns, villages and amenities, yet is tucked away and peaceful.

Access to the beach is such a secret that you hardly ever see another soul.

Evenings in the garden really are unforgettable and there are so many memories to be made.

Sadly we cannot accept pets, due to family allergies.
